At the final quarterly meeting of 2014, the STARS Board of Directors unanimously elected Steve Coppock to be the new executive director of the organization beginning January 1, 2015.

On March 6, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) announced approval of Ameren Missouri’s Callaway Energy Center’s license renewal application, which allows for 20 additional years of operation – beyond the original 40-year operating license that was set to expire in 2024.
