Employment History: Chad has worked in Supply Chain/Logistics for 30 years – starting as a commissioned Officer in the US Navy’s Supply Corps, operating retail big box distribution centers (Target, Sears and TJX), and then transitioning to the utility industry at Entergy’s Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (the nation’s largest Boiling Water Reactor) before pivoting to Arizona Public Service’s Palo Verde station (Pressurized Water Reactors, and the nation’s largest single site nuclear generator for over 30 years).
After leading the Materials sourcing team and promotion to Procurement Manager at Palo Verde, he most recently served as the Supply Chain Services Manager leading the Warehouse, QC Receipt Inspection, Procurement Engineering, Electronic Restoration, and Inventory Management teams before starting his rotation to STARS in late 2023. He is currently the Chairman for NSCSL (Nuclear Supply Chain Strategic Leadership), and Vice Chairman of PIM (Pooled Inventory Management).
Post-secondary education:
Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University, is a 2016 graduate of Palo Verde’s Management Plant SRO Certification program, and holds a Certified Supply Chain Professional designation through ASCM (Association for Supply Chain Management).
