Bob Chu

Employment history: Prior to joining STARS Alliance in 2022, Chu served as a department leader in Palo Verde’s Plant Engineering group, where he was involved in performance improvement, work management, recruiting, initial training, digital modifications, and innovation via reverse engineering.

Prior to that, he held a leadership position in Design Engineering, and served for three years a section leader in Mechanical Design Engineering.

Prior to accepting the section leader position, Chu worked in Regulatory Affairs for a year and in Design Engineering for six years. He began his career at Arizona Public Service at Palo Verde in the Legacy Program in 2009.

Post-secondary education: Chu earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University. He also completed the Palo Verde management certification program in 2019.
